Edgefest is committed to getting as many people as possible to the event, even if they don't have the means to pay. If you are able to make a contribution into the EdgeFest Bursary fund that could help families, those on low income, benefits or other difficulties, come along to EdgeFest, then we would be very grateful. We will do our best to ensure the money is used to bring as many people as possible to Edgefest.
EdgeFest will be back in 2019 and will be bigger than ever. In August 2019, we will aim to see hundreds of families gathering together at Taunton Racecourse for the continuing growth of our new EdgeFest. Great coffee, worship, food, activities, The Lounge to relax and non-stop fun will set the tone for what you will experience at EdgeFest.
Whilst sitting in a “field near Swindon” some of the team who founded and lead the national mens festival called The Gathering pondered as to whether they could build and grow a festival for families that had the same kind of philosophy as the Gathering. A week long holiday that had Jesus right in the centre of everything with loads of fun for children, young people and adults alike. Having already been involved for 10 years with The Edge camp (originally founded by evangelist Don Double) Carl Beech shared this vision with the camp and was duly asked to take the leadership of the Edge on and build the dream!
MARQUEE VENUES
Both our Cafe Hub and Main meeting venue are big marquee tents. Seating, staging, lights and big sound!
ON SITE PROVISION
You will have access to food and drinks at the Hub coffee bar, fresh water points and chemical toilet disposal points.
Toilets and showers on site.
CAMPING OR CARAVAN
The Edgefest is a camping festival. Either a tent or caravan will be great. We would like to guarantee an expectation on the weather but unfortunately can't!
Laid back, extremely friendly and fun atmosphere. Activities and groups for children of all ages. Youth specific gatherings. Every day Gospel focus. Inspiring worship. A “social hub” to hang out in during good or bad weather. A pastoral care team, loads of laughs. An easy festival to invite family and friends to. Every day has main teaching and worship sessions. Each day there are seminars in the main venue. Every day is space to chill out and relax.
Taunton Racecourse is less than 5 miles from Junction 25 on the M5 motorway and less than an hour from the M4/M5 interchange. The Racecourse provides an excellent site with lots of space to provide a Fantastic Family Festival!
